Shane and Angela Christie founded Eclipse Services Ashburton Ltd in February 2009 and have been servicing the wider Mid-Canterbury area with all of their electrical and engineering needs ever since.
Eclipse Services is a family run business and we pride ourselves on looking after other families and businesses in our community. We service domestic, commercial and agricultural industries.
We operate from a large workshop located less than 1.5km from Ashburton and have three of our red vans on the road everyday. Our staff include 2 fully qualified and registered electricians with over 25 years experience, as well as a second year apprentice electrician who can help to meet all of your needs. Shane has over 20 years of welding and engineering experience and is passionate about the industry.

STAFF
Shane - Qualified electrician for 25 years and experienced engineer for 20 years. Shane is the owner/operator alongside Ange, and they are married with three children. Shane enjoys the outdoors and his hobbies are jetboating, motorbiking and hunting
Ange - In charge of the behind the scenes operations/administration. Married to Shane and have three children together. Hobbies are gardening, gym, yoga and running having completed several half marathons
Blake - Recently qualified electrician. Blake started as the after school boy and did his apprenticeship with us. Blake is the eldest son of Shane and Ange. Blake’s hobbies are hunting, fishing, motorbiking and skiing
Matt - Second year electrical apprentice. Matt has always lived in Ashburton as he enjoys what it has to offer. Matt’s hobbies are working out at the gym, walking the dog and riding on a biscuit behind a boat. He has a keen interest in cars
